The PALS Plus™ Provider Course, co-developed by the AHA and the AAP, teaches content beyond the standard PALS Provider curriculum through the addition to the curriculum of at least 6 of 9 PALS Advanced eLearning Modules related to pediatric emergencies. The full course includes HeartCode® PALS Online and the student’s selection of at least 6 of the 9 PALS Plus™ Advanced eLearning Modules, followed by a HeartCode PALS skills session. After successful completion of all PALS Plus™ Provider Course components, students will receive a PALS Plus™ Provider eCard (a PALS Provider eCard with a special designation of “PALS Plus™”), valid for 2 years.
