Objectives

The AHA’s BLS Provider Course has been updated to reflect new science in the 2020 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC. *The Blended Learning is only recommended for students who have a current BLS certification.

Objectives

The AHA’s HeartCode® BLS Course has been updated to reflect new science in the 2020 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC. Audience

Objectives

The AHA’s BLS & Heartsaver® Courses have been updated to reflect new science in the 2020 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC. This course teaches basic life support skills in both in-facility and prehospital settings, with a focus on high-quality CPR, improvement of chest compression fraction, and high-performing team dynamics. The BLS Course teaches rescue techniques for adults, children and infants. The Heartsaver® First Aid course teaches how to respond to medical and injury emergencies.

Length

The course is 5.5-6.5 hours, with a DVD presentation, lecture, practical application, written exam and skills test.
